Purchased at: Www.Bttech.Com.Au     Price: $175.00 AUD

I bought this card tho play all my games, and hold out untill DX11 games are all that is. so far it is doing wonders.

the card has a DVI, VGA, and HDMI ports, and takes up two slots on account of its massive heatsink. overall the card it GREAT. it can play ANY game, maxed out, providing you have the right hardware eg. CPU, Ram.

it has an impressive 2200MHz memory clock speeds (when you buy it, it says that, but most accually only have 1000, which is acceptable, considering its overclocking potential) and a 750Mhz core clock, with the shader happily running at an impressive 1.8Ghz..

i managed to crank the cards clocks pretty high, putting the memory clock on a staggering1345Mhz, 890MHz core clock, and 2.0GHz shader. but if you are playing games for more then 10-20 minutes, you will probably crash, dispite its 'cold core'.

its only requires a single 6 pin power connector, helping it stay nice and chili inside.

Now we look at benchmarks.

In crysis, paired with a Pentium Dual core E6300 @ 3.5GHz and 2GB 1066Mhz (O.C'd) cosair ram, it managed to pull of an incredible 44.9FPS avg. with all setting MAXED on a 22inch samsung LCD.

Very impressive for a sub 200dollar card. but now, people are complaining its a re-badged 9800GTX+. basicly it is, but a few changes make this card shine above every Geforce 9 series card ever made. once, it onely requires, as i said before, 1 6 pin connector, making it run much cooler. it has much high clock and shader speeds, the memory is physically placed differently, it supports some new features that the others dont, and the 1GB model is 2 inches shorter, which is a very convineant truth.

In conclusion, i recomment this card to everyone, over every card. why spend more then 200 dollars when the new DX11 games are going to be the on shelves very soon. the only other card i can think of is the HD4870, which is a good $30-40 more, but it a bit better of a card, but i stand by what i say, the GTS 250 1GB FTW!
