Finally! A treat that I can feel good about giving my son!He loves candy, chocolate and gum... little does he know that this new Trident is actually good for his teeth!
I visited my dentist recently and saw that they had a whole line of products for sale which contained the ingredient xylitol.Xylitol has been shown to reduce plaque and fight against tooth decay.Imagine my surprise and delight when I saw that Trident gum now includes Xylitol!There are 8 yummy flavors compared to the one found at my dentist's office and Trident has a great pricetag!Our favorite flavor is Tropical Twist but we have yet to try all the flavors.
There are only 3.5 calories per piece and the flavor lasts quite a bit longer than other brands of gum!My son loves that he is getting a treat and I love that it's actually fighting cavities!
Trident gum is the bee's knees - but watch out for the chemicals.

I like Trident gum and the Tropical Twist is a great flavor.
Xylitol is an ingredient that is showing up in a lot of places... I just want to make a note that it is extremely important to keep anything and everything with Xylitol away from our pets as even the smallest amount can cause severe symptoms or death.
