The Only Shoes He Will Wear

As I've mentioned before, my sons are extremely picky. When they find something they like there is no changing their minds. They are almost 14 and hit mens shoe sizes about 2 years ago. When we went shoe shopping, Jamie picked out these Dr. Scholl's sneakers and now he won't wear any others.

We went school clothes shopping this year with my mother-in-law. She has a tendancy to spoil my sons because they are her only grandchildren. She told them she would buy them whatever type of sneakers that they wanted. Jesse went for a pair of semi-expensive Nikes that he liked but Jamie would not even try on any other shoes.

So, off to WalMartwe went. The only thing we had to decide was the size. He is now in a size 11 wide width. These shoes come in white and black but he always gets the white. We have seen them in sizes ranging from 7 to 13.

These are very well made sneakers and usually last until he needs the next size, Which is averaging every 4-6 months. He loves the air-pillo gel insoles and says they are extremely comfortable even when they have to run in P.E. class. They have leather uppers and rubber soles. The soles are very slip resistant and he has never slipped in these shoes, even when walking through snow and ice.

Jamie and I both recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a comfortable sneaker at an affordable price.
