The Outsiders is one of the classic 1980s movie. It was made it 1983 and it has a lot of young actors; C. Thomas Howell, Matt Dillon, Diane Lane, Ralph Macchio, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Emilio Estevez, Tom Cruise and Leif Garrett.

The one I have is the 2 Disc Special Edition DVD set. In 1983, Francis Coppola's film of S. E. Hinton's novel struck a powerful chord with audiences, capturing the intense feelings of being caught between childhood and adulthood and not belonging anywhere. Decades later, Coppola has revisited the film and reintegrated 22 minutes of characterenriching footage, including a new beginning and ending more true to the book.

So if you have watched The Outsiders when it first came out in 1983 and enjoyed it, pick up the new 2 Disc Special Edition one. You will probably enjoy just as much if not more, I know I did.
