The Ove Glove

Sometimes I think they created late night commercials for insomniacs like me, who are more susceptible to giving in to urges to buy products they probably don't need.One night when I was unable to return to slumber, I was flipping through the channels and saw a commercial about a nifty little item called "The Ove Glove."It is made out of- and I quote- "Dupont Nomex and Kevlar," which enables you to be able to handle items up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit in temperature, without getting burned.Sure,I have the traditional pot holders and oven mitts, but, darn it, they are not as "cool" as the OveGlove!For some reason, I decided that I "had" to have this one-of-a-kind product and I bought it.To its credit, it really does work, but, to be honest, a regular pot holder could do just as well, since I have pretty much used the Ove Glove to pull out hot trays and dishes from the oven.As a matter of fact, we don't even use it amymore.Want so me good advice?Make sure younever make a buying decision for products you see on television commercials at 2 a.m.
