The Ove Glove By Ezriela on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Sometimes I think they created late night commercials for insomniacs like me, who are more susceptible to giving in to urges to buy products they probably don't need. One night when I was unable to return to slumber, I was flipping through the channels and saw a commercial about a nifty little item called "The Ove Glove." It is made out of- and I quote- "Dupont Nomex and Kevlar," which enables you to be able to handle items up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit in temperature, without getting burned. Sure, I have the traditional pot holders and oven mitts, but, darn it, they are not as "cool" as the OveGlove! For some reason, I decided that I "had" to have this one-of-a-kind product and I bought it. To its credit, it really does work, but, to be honest, a regular pot holder could do just as well, since I have pretty much used the Ove Glove to pull out hot trays and dishes from the oven. As a matter of fact, we don't even use it amymore. Want so me good advice? Make sure you never make a buying decision for products you see on television commercials at 2 a.m.
