This is an extremely informative paperback book written by Dwight C.McGoon,M.D. The author of this book is quite familiar with the symptoms and problems associated with Parkinson's Disease because he suffers from this debilitating illness. He is a Mayo Clinic surgeon and therefore qualified to write about his first hand experiences in dealing with Parkinson's Disease. This book contains an inspiring, practical guide for patients and their families which is so necessary to aid these people that are living with this disease. The author has written a detailed account regarding the onset of the disease and treatment for it. I had a brother who died from Parkinson's Disease and I have a cousin who is bravely living with it. This in itself certainly sparks my interest in wanting to learn all I can about this devastating disease. This book is filled with 175 pages of educational information. It helped me to understand and learn more than I expected to know before this tragedy hit my family.
