The Perfect Guitar By TAlderson on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is my third guitar, and it is by far my favorite. Like many other Martins, it has a rich bass sound, and the construction is impeccable. The fretboard is easy to play and has no buzzing. The guitar itself has a great sound, perfect for anyone who uses an acoustic guitar for acoustic accompaniment or with a band. The electronics are Fishman, with both a pickup and a microphone in the soundhole. You can blend both of these with the on-board controller, which helps find a great tone and also allows you to switch depending on feedback issues or the acoustics of the venue. It also has a notch filter and on-board EQ to help with live performances, which comes in handy, especially in places with less-than-stellar equipment. As with any Martin, it comes with a lifetime warranty, and every call I've made to the Martin support center (mainly with "how do I use this feature?" type questions) has been imformative and well-handled. A great buy for any guitarist.
