The Perks Of The Perks Of Being A Wallflower By rosebud11 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Perks of Being a Wallflower has become my favorite book, ever. I first read it in the fall and have since read it three times. The story itself is magical, and I honestly think anyone and everyone can relate to Charlie's story. He's a freshman in high school who's just trying to live his life, as opposed to watching from the sidelines. He's a loner but gets some really great friends when he just sits next to a senior form his woodshop class. The book is made up of letters Charlie sends to an anonymous person to who he tells everything about his life at school to his life at home. See, Charlie is a wall-flower and he doesn't start participating in life until his English teacher talks to him about it and he really gets close to his friends. It's a life-changing read, so read it. I promise, you won't be sorry. The only annoying thing is that the book is $14 but you can find it online for much less!
