I've ALWAYS wanted to have Adobe Photoshop and claim it as my own. The price is just setting me off; but if you think about it, supply and demand determine market price, and the people that use it are willing to buy it at that price. Photoshop is used to create and edit images. You can upload your artwork and color it with photoshop, or upload photos and edit those for art as well. Unfortunately, there are people out there that use Photoshop constantly to hide their flaws, known as camwhores (yeah, really.), because they're afraid of what people would think of that. It's those people that also degrade the value of Photoshop sometimes, for I can't stand to see all these teens on MySpace with photoshopped pictures of their ugly exteriors (I have every right to say so, no one needs to photoshop all of their pictures unless they're ugly...outside and inside.). Nevertheless, there are free trials that you can use to give you a better look and feel of the product. I personally think that the real thing is better than the shareware out there, mainly because they don't have as many features and aren't as good as Photoshop.
