The Pill Book is one that we try to buy yearly to make sure we stay up to date. I personally feel that every home should own this one. You can buy it in paperback or hardback.

It not only has the generic names, but brand names, it also has identifying photos, it also tells you what they are for, how they work, possible and probable side effects. You also get addiction and overdose potentials, along with drug and food interactions, what medications are alcohol and sugar free. You also will learn when you should call your doctor and special information for seniors, children, pregnant women or breast feeding women.

This book will answer any and all questions you may have about medications and each year they put out a new and updated version so you can stay current. It is not very expensive, but it is very valuable.
