For anyone who has ever seen the old Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers, then you know how incredibly funn they used to be. When they came out with a remake of the old movies starring Steve Martin, I was excited because I know that he is a hilarious actor and would definitely make the role interesting. I wasn't sure if he would be able to completely pull it off because in the older movies, Peter Sellers always had such a strong accent that was really funny. But, Steve Martin did a great job with it and he played his role of the bumbling, idiot inspector who makes what he thinks are whole hearted attempts to catch the pink panther diamond thief, but in the end only gets lucky when he succeeds in solving the crime.

It's definitely a corny movie, but its still very funny and good for a laugh.
