The Polar Express DVD

I purchased my second copy of The Polar Express last year. It is put out by Warner Brothers and avaible just about everywhere. My first copy was worn out form watching it so many times. I teach first grade and we always do a Polar Express unit for Christmas, including reading the book, earning tickets, ect, all leading up to the grande finale of watching Polar Express. The animated movies which stars Tom Hanks is beyond compare! It is also a Robert Zemeckis film and he made Back to the Future! The kids always go carzy over this movie. I also have a 7 year old daughter, and this is one of her favorites! She loves to watch this movie with a cup of hot chocolate! I love this movie! I have seen it like one hundred times and still cry at the end! It is heartwarming and captures the Christmas spirit. Last year we were fortunate enough to be able to see it on IMAX at Moody GArdens in GAlveston, TX, and it was AWESOME!!! The snowflakes look like you could catch them, and the train looked like it was about to hit you!!I would highly recommend this movie for all ages!
As a Jewish believer , I have avoided this one for some stupid reason. I was raised Catholic, and still love to be SANTA, maybe I should watch it! My kids have seen it, but not me! Is it one i will like? WW-V:)
My kids and their cousins enjoy watching this movie over and over again.. you know when kids like something no matter how many times they do it its feels that it's always the first time.. lol..
I have tried many times to get my son to watch this movie but he just does not like it. He is a huge Thomas the Tank fan so I thought he would love this but sadley he does not. I have to watch it myself.
I love this movie! I have watched it a few times and it is just so cute. I keep telling my mom she needs to watch it too lol. I think it is a great movie for kids.
I like everything about it except the philosophy of the line "it doesn't matter where it's going, as long as you get on the train."

I have not seen this movie yet but now I want to. It's wonderful that you are able to get the kids really interested in reading the book by doing all the other activities! Sounds like fun.
This is a great movie for kids and adults. My two older children love this movie. My husband and I watched it together last December and we enjoyed it as well.
This is one of my favorite Christmas movies. I just love the whole thing and look forward to the Holidays so we can watch it again.
