Math subject is one of the hardest topics to others, actually some hate seeing numbers. In my case, it's the opposite and actually Math is my favorite subject during my school days. Right now I am training my daughter who is an incoming Grade 3 this school year 2009-2010 to have the speed and accuracy when it comes to Math problem. Speed and accuracy in Math can be achieved thru constant study and practice. I know that as she go on in higher levels she will encounter many numbers but I don't want her to think that it will gonna be hard for her. Learning and mastering the basic rules in Math is a big help in solving complicated problems.

Being in Grade 3 is not that difficult already when it comes to Math problem but a starting point for her to learn, understand and master her basics. We bought these multiplication flash cards where she can practice answering multiplication problems at home or in school. I know it will help her to be fast in getting the product and also by doing it constantly the retention of an equation on her mind will improve until she comes to a point to do mental math.
