The QUICKSET, Automatic Hook Setter

We bought this little contraption on EBay. My husband saw it and had to have it. It is a little plastic do-hickey that you basically thread your fishing line through after you cast out and set up your rod with a holder. The Quickset is designed to automatically set the hook for you when you are fishing.

Quickset can be used for any type of fishing; it can be adjusted to go off with even the slightest bites.

The Quickset is made of black plastic the body of it is about 3 inches long and about an inch wide, there is also a lever that is approxmately4 inches long, and has a thin black cord to attach to a stake.

My husband says he LOVES this Quickset and even I have to admit that it actually WORKS!! He likes the fact that when we used it in the riverhe was able to adjust it so that the current did not trigger the Quicksetbut when an actual bite occurred the Quickset DID trigger then.

It was very nice and convenient when we used it for cat fishingyou just set it up and go about your business, you dont even have to pay attentionsleep if you likethe Quickset triggers and sets for you. You just have to pick up the rod and reel em in when you get a fish on.

NOTEmy husband did not follow the directions when he first used this contraptionso it didnt trigger properly. If you decide to buy one of theseI suggest following the exact instructions! They are simple and easy to follow.
