radio shark is, in a nutshell, an antenna in the shape of a fin that plugs into your computer and lets you listen to live radio. it is the best radio that ive bought and it works very well. it is encased in a sleek white shell with three curved blue lights that indicate when it is on and being used. it is compatible with mac and pc, and plugs in through usb... it works great on both pc and mac(i know because i have both), but i prefer it on mac. it has always had great signal whenever ive used it and it has a great range of stations. the software is very usable and easy to navigate. it allows you to set presets and favorites. it also lets you record live radio and listen to it later... plus you can rewind and fast forward live radio!! just like tivo, but a radio. i love the radioshark because it is so simple and easy to use, as is the software. it is protable and requires nothing other than a computer... no internetr access needed! you could even use it in the car on a long trip... which works quite well actually. it is buit beautifully, works like a dream, and has never let me down... i hope you enjoy yours if you buy one. i hope this review has been helpful, thank you for your time!
