The Ramones lull baby to sleep

I grew up listening to band like The Ramones, so when I saw that someone had made lullabies of their songs, I had to get it.The cd contains Ramones classics like "Rock N Roll High School," "I wanna be sedated,"& "Sheena is a punk rocker."

And yes, they are lullabyes! The company that makes the albums has a bluegrass/roots background, and the songs reflect that. Instead of guitars and drums, the songs are now played with harps, xylaphones, and other instruments that make more soothing, babyish sounds. The company also does other bands, including Bob Marley (had to get that one too), Nirvana, U2, Tool, and others.

The albums are meant for young babies. We used the cd from the time my son was born until he was about 10 months, putting on at bedtime and just letting it play. The music is similar to what a mobile might play, but it's popular songs, so if you are stuck with a sleeping baby on your lap, you can at least sing along in your head!
