The River Suites

Back in March of 2008 we went to my husbands mothers to visit in Holland, Mi. She offered to watch the kids for us to GET AWAY....WOOHOO!!! So I got online and searched for the perfect place to go and found Saugatuck, MI. We stayed in a really neat suite that used to be an old boat house called the River Suites. It had a living room, fire place, bedroom, fully stocked kitchen, and the best part was that it sat right on the river and had a nice little private deck too. While visiting Saugatuck there are close to 100 little shops and knick knack stores. There area ton of resturants to choose from and the GREATEST part of it all is that everythng is a walk away and people are soooooo nice!!!!! It was beautiful there and we had a great time, we ended up eating at a resturant that was right on the lake. We also went to the Dunes and walked a 2.5 mile hike that takes you to Lake Michigan where the view is priceless. So if you are ever going to travel to west Michigan, Suagatuck is definitly worth the trip!!!!
