Reviewing: Ati Radeon Hd 4850
Purchased at: Newegg     Price: $150.00 USD

The Radeon 4850 has been a pride and joy for me. I bough this to maximize my home built computers performance. At the time of purchace i didnt have the home built pc so it was still in my old Gateway GT 5028 computer. When in my old gateway computer The performance was Awesome but not perfect. As soon as i built my pc Installed the card turn on Call of duty 4 and Crysis1 and Crysis warhead the computer put new life into this card and heres my review.

This card is Perfect for the budget gamer. I can play my games at max settings 1680x1050 with 4xAA on every game i have. (we all know about crysis) crysis is a power hungery machine eater that likes to try and burn the computer. This graphics card ate it up with 32Fps average(thats good in this game). At first drivers were a issue with the newly windows 7 beta's and i had problems with dual monitors. Later after a couple patches this graphics card was shinning better then XP and VISTA! I started tweeking the grpahics card to suck more performance out of it as i did the rest of my computer, And gained at leasta 20% increase in performance. I love this card.

Pros- Power! this thing uses little power and my old 350 watt psu in my gateway pc could handle this graphics card with ez. Graphics the power that this card can dish out is amazing, never have i had a computer that could play everything maxed out. Normally i would have to go Ask my brother to use his pc to play my games(cnc3,KW,Call of duty 4,Crysis,) and a few others.

Cons. Not that i can think of but maybe the ram being Gddr 3 not the new Gddr 5.
