Reviewing: Barbara Delinsky The Secret Between Us

Barbara Delinsky's The Secret Between Us is pretty good story of a mother who takes the blame for an accident caused by her daughter. This secret almost destroys the family. Delinsky allows you to watch as the family unravels over this secret and some long harbored resentments. Its a book about being honest and forgiving towards others. I really liked this book and finished it in one day (about 352 pages).Delinsky usually writes fast paced romances. The kind of books that make for quick reading. Lately though she has been stepping outside the romance genre and writing books like The Secret Between Us, Suddenly, and The Family Tree. I like when authors do this. Its shows that they have real talent and on an occassion shows us some writers are better off sticking to their strengths.
