The Settlers VI The Rise of an Empire is one of the best new games on the PC market where you have to make create a medieval town and in turn an empire. It is cool because it has the food gathering and soldier recruitment system, that of Age of Empires, while also adopting a modern Sim City form in that every character has their own daily life and jobs and you are practically creating a medieval town or city. One of my favourite aspects of the game is that you simply have to build a resource hut such as the wood cutting hut in the vicinity near of trees and the necessary men go and gather the food and take it to your town no hassle. The thing that I like, which makes Settlers different from games such as Age of Empires and Civilization and Stronghold is that Settlers VI has become more centred around building the medieval empire rather then combat. It's an awesome building strategy game and definitely one o the best I've played.
