The Shania Twain Story On Her Way By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Shania Twain Story - On Her Way is an unauthorized biography by Scott Gray. I have the paperback version of this book.

If you are a Shania Twain fan, you would probably find it interesting to read a story about her youth, the loss of her parents, how she got her start in the music industry, and the struggles that she had to go through to reach stardom. You acquire new admiration for someone when you realize how hard they had to work in order to get to where they are.

Shania had a hard start to life, and through her detemination, hard work and talent, she made a name for herself.

I enjoyed reading this book about Shania Twain. It's nice to get some background on a well-known person's life so that you can fill in some of the blanks. This book has some great color photos of Shania. It is 205 pages in length, and in the back of the book are three appendices which give some more info on Shania. Appendix I is a list of Shania's awards. Appendix II is a list of Shania's songs, including albums and videos (up to the time that the book was written). Appendix III gives some vital statistics, including likes and dislikes.

I enjoyed this biography on Shania Twain and would recommend it to any Shania fan.
