We did not get a chance to see this movie in theaters and were very excited about the DVD release. The Simpson Movie did not let us down! Packed full of humor and a warped sense of family love and even some environmental education! The plot was basically about an environmental catostrophy in the town of Springfield and how the Simpson family is effected. The jokes were fairly appropriate for kids and a couple older jokes for the parents. The end is a happy one. Occasionally it felt like a longer version of the weekly show but it overall was a funny good movie. In addition to tthe movie the DVD includes commentary, deleted scenes, some trailers, and other fun things. The rating is PG-13 for the slightly off-color jokes. I highly recommend this movie for your family!
