About the Simpsons

The Simpsons is one of the most popular cartoon families of all time. It is up there with the Jetsons and the Flintstones. It is in fact America's longest running animated television program. The show was the brainchild of Matt Groening. The show began as a mere filler for the Tracey Ullman show. Now it has surpassed this and is on its 20th season.

The show is about a typical American family. you have Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. It is satirical in nature and lampoons American life. The show is set in the fictional town of Springfield. Homer is a worker in the nuclear power plant. Marge is a housewife. Bart is a juvenile delinquent. Lisa is a talented musician and honor student. Maggie is a baby.

About the Game

The game is about Bart and Lisa escaping from Camp Deadly. The facilitator of the camp seeks to make the sibling's life a living hell and they must escape. Here you use weapons such as spitwads and boomerangs to vanquish bullies and insects. The game has decent graphics and quite detailed. The sound isn't that good. You here the Simpson's theme over and over and the gameboy but the sounds of Bart's voice isn't that clear. The play controls are quite simple. You can duck, throw projectiles and jump over enemies and obstacles. The game is okay but has little replay value once finished.

I would recommend the game since it is fun. It does become repetitive at one point but it is quite engaging. The game is too easy however.
