The Sims 2: Nightlife...Add More Fun By IceQueen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I decided to get The Sims 2: Nightlife after deciding that it was time my Sims had cars! Let me add, this was far from an implusive buy. I spent a day or two looking at the features and comparing them. I decided that I should get it and picked it up during a visit to the mall. I got home installed the two disks and waited patiently for the game to load. The regular "We've noticed you have a new expansion pack" blurb came up and told me about the main features of Nightlife. I was like now I really need a bachelor living in Downtown. Downtown is an area of a city specific to Nightlife. It has shops, housing, and other standard things. I created a brand new Sim moved them into one of the premade houses. Soon I called the Matchmaker. She was eager to help me and set me up on a blind date with "the perfect guy." To speed things up I bought a couple of love potions to see how they worked. Dates where very intresting because this one happened to end as a dream date. To my suprise, my Sim found a bouquet of roses the next day. She was extremely happy. Eventually the two Sims got married and they decided it was time for a car. I found the selection of cars pretty broad, and they could easily suit any Sim lifestyle. Building a garage on the other hand was extremely tricky, and to this day I am not that great at it. The game offers you a lot more to do with your Sims and obviously more stuff to buy for them. Its a great addition for people wanting their Sims to have a social life. If you can try it out. You won't regret it.

I think these Sims games are a hoot. They are sort of an adult version of playing house. Real life seems like enough playing house to me, but I know they are hugely popular. I didn't realize that you could buy extra modules to do extra things.
