The Smallest Jumpdrive Ever! By Derek Mills on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

My school took my classmates and me on an all week stay at University of Fayetteville, AR. The week was bland until the last day. One that day, I spotted a device that change the way I save files.

The device I am talking about is the Crucial Gizmo Jr. This little jump drive can be compare to the size of nickel. Because of its size, it can fit in anywhere from a pocket book to a binder. The storage capacity of Gizmo Jr. starts at 1GB (gigabyte) to 8GB. There is no installation needed. All you have to do is to put it in and it is automatically recognized. Did I mention that Gizmo Jr. supports major operating systems such as Windows Me and above, Linux kernel and above, Macintosh 9.1 and above? Oh yea, it works with USB 1.0 and 2.0.

In my experience, I have used it to install Windows XP onto my netbook. The little trinket has helped me transport the files I need in a fashionable manner. The only downfall to Gizmo Jr. is remembering to put the smiley face upwards in order for the computer to recognize it.

It sounds great to keep one for myself. Thanks for sharing about the Gizmo. May be I shall look for it shortly.

This very common for the past few years. My Kingston 8GB Flash drive is just half of this Gizmo drive.
