I always liked photography..not really a professional photographer but the kind who always admire a shot well taken. Hence, a good digital camera was an essential and I chose to invest on a Sony Cybershot 8.1 MP digicam. The camera looks sleek, fits into one's pocket and does not weigh much. It comes with a large TFT touchsceen and the 8.1 MP resolution is so good that even poster size prints look crystal clear. Videos made are fabulous too..locations or orjects that come under sudden shadow while making a video are given extra illumination. This makes it ideal for both closed space and open air photography.

Other novel features of this device are face detection and smile shutter- two technologies that left me speeches. While face detection gives an extra clear shot of people's faces with automated red eye correction, smile shutter clicks a picture only when the person being photographed smiles. Aunt Margie will never frown in pictures again.

The camera comes with a LI-ion rechargeable battery with an excellent life. A 2GB memory card, USB cable,necessary software and a manual are provided with the device. Overall, it is a great camera that is really simple to use.
