The Sufferer And The Witness By maximum on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Sufferer And The Witness is the fourth album released by the punk, post hardcore band Rise Against. This is a more melodic than some of their other albums. But it still contains its full on, in your face punk style. If you enjoyed the Rise Against's other albums then you will like this album. The album brings into a new style of Rise Against; there are new sounds and a different style to some songs. Some songs take vicious jumps in sound, from soft to loud and fast. Some of these jumps are quite brave but they have successfully pulled them off. For all the hard, fast songs there are a few slower more relaxed sound to them. This album has a bit more of mainstream sound to it than their other albums. Even though it still holds ground to its punk roots.
