Reviewing: Ballantine Books The Syndrome By John Case

This was a very interesting book. I have never read any books by John Case but I really liked this one. He gives first person accounts of each of the main characters, which makes them more real. I will definately be on the look out for more John Case books. This book was a suspense/mystery thriller. The book may seem rather large with 455 pages but it does not seem that long because the story captivates. I would definately recommend reading this book. Also while reading this book, I started to wonder, "What if something like this is really being done?"

Story (as on book): A promising research fellow for a venerable think tank in Zurich has just filed his last report, as he is forsed into a grisly experiment...A seductive you woman travels to Florida nd from her hotel room window, coolly sharpshoots an old man in a wheelchair as he basks in the late afternoon sun...A psychologist who helps patients confront and dispel past trauma through hypnosis battles his own silent demons....

I liked that the characters in this story are intertwined. Some parts of the book were very predictable but some were not. I enjoyed this book :o)
