The Transporter By Jon Scott on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Transporter, starring Jason Statham and Shu Qi, delivers an action-packed experience. Jason Statham, playing ex-military man Frank Martin, delivers an excellent "tough guy" performance, incorporating both gunfights and excellent hand-to-hand sequences. Shu Qi's performance is sub-par, but this is understandable with english as her second language. In fact, several characters exhibit heavy foreign accents, which makes the dialogue somewhat hard to follow. However, since the movie focuses on action sequences, the dialogue is not as necessary. The Transporter contains some violence, due to the incredible car chases, blazing gunfights, and enthralling hand-to-hand sequences. One "sensual" scene earns a PG-13 rating, but in terms of language, this movie is squeaky clean. Language is not necessary when Jason Statham uses his normally non-lethal force against underworld scum. Despite the acting, I highly reccomend this movie for any action fans.
