The Truth About Proactiv By Kurenai on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

After seeing commercials for this stuff everywhere, I decided to give it a try. For something that cost $49.95, it seemed worth the price and that I'd help contain my acne. Boy, was I in for a surprise.

The stuff was annoying to use and did not help contain my oily skin at all. As a matter of fact, it made my skin feel oilier and unpleasant even when I used the formula according to it's step-by-step directions. But that wasn't all.

About a week after I started using Proactiv, I noticed that I got patches of burnt skin and irritations all over my face. The spots stung and were annoying to cover up. To say the least, I asked for a refund and never used this product ever again. The spots also took 2 more weeks to go away and more breakouts happened.

If anything, don't waste money on this. Save yourself $40 and buy Clean and Clear instead.
