This is a book about how to make a vegetable garden in just twenty minutes a day. I know that seems impossible, but I really think you can do it if you follow the ideas set forth in this funny little book.
The book is written in the third person, by and about two guys who don't really seem to have a lot in common at first glance.
One of the authors is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to gardening, different species of vegetables, and anything else to do with growing your own food, while the other wants fresh vegetables but doesn't want all the hard work that traditionally goes along with keeping a garden.
I used to garden a lot before I started working fulltime. Now I just can't imagine keeping up with a flourishing garden in peak weed growing season! But this book gives great ideas on how to keep the weeds down and how to manage your garden in just (really!) twenty minutes a day.
After reading for just a while, I have to admit that I am now thinking seriously about designing a garden around these ideas so that I can have a garden without being a slave to it.

I just might pick this up for my brother - he owned an organic farm until he opened his construction firm then he had no time for the farm aspect but loved it - we're thinking of all setting up our own gardens on his land this year - this book would really help by the sounds of it..thanks for the info on this.
I'm giving my hand at a veggie garden this year for the first time, and it sounds like might be helpful.
