By Karen onI am a dachshund owner, so how could I not love The Ugly Dachshund.This Disney movie stars Dean Jones, Suzanne Pleshette and Charlie Ruggles, and I was able to pick up a copy of this on eBay.I know copies are still available.
The movie is about the Garrisons (Dean Jones and Suzanne Pleshette) and, of course, the dachshunds.Great Dane, Brutus, is a dog that thinks he is a dachshund and can do everything the dachshund pups do.What follows is a very funny movie concerning the antics of these four dogs, and you can imagine what havoc three frisky pups and a gangly Great Dane can cause.
The movie is 93 minutes long, and includes some special features.Even if you are not a dog lover, I don't think you could help but laugh at this movie, it really is funny to watch what troubles these dogs cause for the Garrisons.Disney movies are always great, as far as I am concerned, and this movie is no exception.It is great viewing for the entire family.
