The Ultimate Game System
By TestAndReview onThe Nintendo Wii. What do you think when you hear it? It's amazing family friendliness? It's kid appealing games? It's new high technological status? Many things can be said. From Wii Fit to Rock Band to the new Wii Active, it also has a reputation for assisting in weight loss. What can I say? Ages 1- 100+! The size is not so portable but not so Godzilla big either. The all too famous Wii-mote is quite sensitive and just the flick of a wrist can win or lose you the game. If you are a highly competitive active gamer I would reccomend the XBox 360 or the maybe even the Playstation 3. However there is a new price cut for the Wii ($199 at most retailers) so it's more easy on the wallet than when I purchased my Wii bundle in 2008 for $400! All in all, the selection of games and affordability is a big aspect of buying a game system and the Wii satisfies that aspect completely! Games ranging in price from $10+ are available.
Some popular ones over time include:
Wii Fit (and the new Wii Fit Plus)
Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Rock Band (Including the Beatles edition)
Mario Kart
Super Mario Galaxy
Wii Sports Resort
And I'd like to mention a really good one for about 20 bucks: SAMBA DE AMIGO!
So that sums it up: For all you moms looking for things to tire your toddlers out and keep them healthy, buy the Wii! (After 15 minutes of playing Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, I was tired as heck!)
