The Wallflowers Cd Bringing Down The Horse By nightwing on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is the most successful of all the CD's put out by the band and my personal favorite as well. It has a good mix of songs that are all fun and mellow .

My favorite song off the album is One Headlight. Lead singer Jacob Dylan (Bob Dylan's son) gives a great vocal performance on this track, sounding all raspy and passionate. The Difference is a fun song and has a more upbeat and pop-oriented sound than most of the other songs on the collection. 6th Avenue Heartache is probably the most well known of all the songs here, and was the bands first hit single. Three Marlenas is another strong song and was another hit single for the band. All of the songs here are good as there is not a weak one in the bunch.

This is a great disc by an extremely talented group of musicians. While their other discs are strong as well, none of them can touch this in terms of being such a well-rounded collection of songs.
