This is probablly one of the greatest movies from the 70s. The Warriors, made by Paramount Pictures, was produced in 1979 and then converted into a DVD in 2005. It's about this gang, obviously called The Warriors, that takes a trip up to the Bronx for a meeting about a truce between all gangs. Almost all of the gangs from New York City showed up. Well, the President of the biggest gang in NYC, who came up with the truce, gets shot and all hell breaks loose. Someone says that The Warriors are the one who shot him, so now all rival gangs are out for them and ready to bust their heads. Now, the Warriors are stuck with having to bump their way all the way back to Coney Island (their territory). They end up being in a lot of different fights with those rival gangs. If you haven't seen this movie then it's a must that you go out and rent or even better buy it. You will love it all: the music, action, romance, everything!
