I have well water and we have a lot of trouble with rust and lime residue in the tub and shower, not to mention soap scum. The product I use to clean it with is called The Works Tub & Shower Cleaner. It is fantastic for cutting through the grime and making the tub and shower shine!
I have used a lot of different type of cleaners to get my tub and shower clean, but I have never had another product do as well as this one. I won't even buy another brand anymore! All I do is squirt it on the wall of the shower and the bottom of the tub and wipe with a towel or sponge. It usually takes the mild dirt off immediately, but the tougher stuff might take a second application. I never have to scrub hard, the solution does all the work, well almost, I do have to do the cleaning, I just don't have to work as hard at it.

I use The Works Toilet Bowl Cleaner. The previous owners left it in the house & I've been hooked on it since. I didn't know they made a tub and shower cleaner, I'll have to check it out!
I like the Works toilet cleaner a lot! Didn't realize that they make a tub and shower cleaner too.
I use The Works tub & shower cleaner, it works great. We have rusty water too, so tub and shower turns yellow, but The Works takes care of that - fast!
I use The Works all the time, it is excellent. Yellow tub turns into white in no time.
My tub is old, and hard to clean-going to try this.
I've seen this advertised but have never tried it. I'll probably pick some up on my next shopping trip as I am almost out of shower cleaner.
I'm going to give this one a try. I hate dirty grungy tiles and tubs, but most cleaners don't clean as advertised. If this one does things half as well as you say here, for the price it's worth trying.
