The worst coffee maker I ever saw

I love coffee, especially in the morning. But this coffee maker is trigerring the worse of me. It is dripping from everywhere, just tilting it does a mess, so imagine when you pour... I'm using (and washing) more towels then ever.
It's hard to put the lid, you seem to never be at the good place to start and then it block. Start again.
When you put water in it, be aware that there is a hole behind and if you put to much water it will simply go on your counter. Great for washing...
The buttons are misplaced because every time you push the beast back to its place your thumbs will push the buttons and you will stop-start or put in on auto. And this week, the buttons are blocking, I must use the back of a knive to push it, this morning the start didn't work but when I push auto, it started... go understand something in it.
Since I got it as a gift, I have no receipt and can't take it back...
I hope there will be a sale soon, I'm eager to replace it.
Oh that's too bad about the dripping....I loved your visual aid of that!! I hope you can get a new coffee maker soon!
This is good to know as my husbands coffee maker just died! I am suppose to find him a new one asap! I will avoid this one!
Wow I usually most of B&D products but this sounds like something we want to stay away from.

I had a TCM450B for over a year and it makes great consistent coffee. Recently my girlfriend dropped a heavy metal knife into the carafe and broke the internal glass. This is the only coffee maker I have ever owned that compelled me to buy a replacement of the same type. I ordered another TCM450B and I'm back to making great coffee. Unless you are a complete klutz, I find nothing extraordinary difficult about this coffee maker. The thermal carafe in PLAINLY marked on where to rotate the lid to when pouring a cup of coffee, which it does without any spills. Other glass carafes I have had did not pour as easily as this one. The plastic is the same as any other coffee maker I have used in the past. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee warm for hours. I have no complaints at all about this coffeemaker. I can say with confidence, I would buy this coffee maker again because I did!
