Theraflu Warming Relief Nighttime By allie63078 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Whenever I have a cold or my allergies are kicking in really bad, along with my normal allergy medication, I usually will use some sort of liquid cold medicine to help me sleep and feel better at night. I typically use Nyquil, but on a whim, I decided that I would give the new Theraful warming medicine a try. My father-in-law had used it and said it worked great for him.

Now, I don't know if it was just me, but it just didn't do it for me. The taste wasn't good at all. You could taste the medicine and it made getting it down hard. Also, while it helped my symptoms minimally, within a couple hours, not only was I not being able to sleep, but I had the same congestion I had before I took the medicine. I ended up taking another dose and that helped a little more, but I wasn't sure how good taking that much was for me.
