Therapeutica Pillow... Waste Of Money! By Chenault on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My boyfriend expressed an intrest in these "ultimate sleeping pillows" and his chiropractor told him it would dramatically improve his quality of sleep, so we bought one. I nearly fainted when I saw it was $88 before sales tax... Almost one hundred dollars is a lot of money, but I thought it would be worth the price if my dear was sleeping better.
The pillow claims to promote greater comfort, reduce pain and fatigue and to keep the user in correct spinal adjustment while sleeping.
The first week, my boyfriend started complaining about how bad his neck hurt after waking up. He said the pillow was "uncomfrtable." He talked to his chiropractor about the pillow and he offered the assurance it takes some adjusting to enjoy the benefits of the pillow.
Well, it has been 5 months, and the pillow was an utter waste of nearly $100, considering my dogs now have this darn pillow in their doggy bed. My boyfriend won't use it, and the dogs aren't crazy about it either.

Too sad, when even the dogs won't sleep on it! Grin :)
How 'bout send the chiropractor the bill?!
So sorry to hear about your pillow problems. A pillow can really make a lot of difference in your sleep.
Wow-I almost bought one of these once! At least my curiousity will be fixed after reading-thanks!
I have chronic upper back/neck issues and this pillow has been a godsend, having used one for 7-8 years. Is it possible it wasn't being used correctly? If you're a back sleeper, the middle section should be used. If you use one of the "wings" and are a back sleeper, it would be understandable that you would awaken with neck issues.
