Everyone that has an infant or has taken care of an infant knows what a horrible and irritating thing diaper rash can be. It can just appear out of nowhere no matter how clean and dry you keep your child. Balmex works wonderful on this. It coats well and stays on not only shielding the raw area but also soothing and healing. Usually, within hours there is improvement and within a day the rash is gone.

I have also learned over the years that older children can benefit from this product. For example, when they are playing soccer, get all sweaty, their clothes rub and their skin gets irritated. Slap a little Balmex on them and the rash is gone by the next morning.

The scent is very mild and it does not cause the skin to peel as it heals like some other products. I always keep a tube in my first aid kit just in case.
