This review is for the Special Edition, I just didn't have enough room to put that in the title. For those of you who aren't familiar with Monty Python, it was a British comedy show that was freaking amazing. Well, they also made this movie, and nerds everywhere have it memorized. This movie tells the tale of King Arthur's quest for the Holy Grail...and then goes off on so many awesome tangents that you won't even need to remember the original plot. From cannibalizing Sir Robin's minstrels to murdering the narrator, there is something in this movie for everyone. The list of characters contains familiar names, such as; King Arthur, Sir Lancelot, Sir Robin, and Sir Galahad, but also gives us new faces, like; Roger the Shrubber, the Knights who say "Nee!", and Tim. Another added bonus of the Special Edition is all the crazy special features they threw in! You can watch the "Knights of the Round Table" dance number reenacted with legos, and watch the entire movie in Japanese (with English subtitles). There is also a "glorious extra 24 seconds absolutely free!" If that doesn't get you excited, then you're probably dead, and dead people shouldn't be watching movies in the first place. The only sad thing about this movie is that it doesn't go on forever.
