There's a Mouse About the House! by Richard Fowler is really fun book for kids! This book was given to my young son (age 3) as a gift and he has really been enjoying it! The book comes with a cute mouse cutout that you can use to interact with the book. Each page has a "slit" cut in it where the mouse climbs in and out. My son absolutely loves getting to move the mouse around! It is great for listening skills and following directions as the story directs the child to put the mouse "in", "out" , "up", "under"... There are arrows drawn on each of the pages to help the little mouse find his was through the house in search of some food. Cute ending too! The book is a great size (it is extra-tall) and has wonderful illustrations. Another cool thing is that it has a pattern with a "how-to" guide on the back cover to make a new mouse in case yours gets lost or destroyed. I would definitely recommend this book!
