There's No Place Like Space By donnabc on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

There's No Place Like Space is an excellant, entertaining, funny, educational early reading book. The book is written by Tish Rabe and is very well done. Like all Dr. Seuse books, the book uses rhyming to help children sound out words. The story takes a little boy and girl for a trip to all the planets. As they arrive at each one, the Cat in the Hat has funny but informative facts to tell the children. Kids learn excellent information about our solar system without even realising that they are learning! While the book IS a bit long, it is definately worth the extra time spent with it. And the kids just can't seem to hear it and read it enough. The pictures are done by Aristides Ruiz and are beautiful and funny. I recommend this book for early readers and for parents to read to their young ones.
