Thermal Arc Fabricator Welder By Dadof2Disneyboys on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have had my Thermadyne brand Thermal Arc Fabricator / Welder for a few years now. It is a Mig welder. It can run on gas or on flux cord wire. It runs on a 220 power supply, similar to your household dryer or oven. The Thermal Arc Fabricator / Welder is good for small welding jobs, such as repairing a lawn mower. It welds up to a quarter inch. It has a 30 percent duty cycle, which basically means it won't weld non-stop one hundred percent of the time, it needs to stop and cool down for awhile. It comes complete with the Mig gun and the ground cable. I use mine several times a month, and it is always reliable and works well. I have most recently used it to weld a hole in my mower deck on my lawn tractor. I also just used it to bend some steel to make a bracket holder for my window air conditioner. I recommend this fabricator / welder to anyone who has a garage and likes to do things and repair things for themselves.

This sounds like it makes many repairs manageable at home for a reasonable price.
