Thermal Cooker By mariamrose on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I bought this thermal cooker two year back. My aunt was using it and she suggested trying it. I am using this thermal cooker since then.

Here, in my place, rice is the main course for lunch and dinner along with curries. And rice takes a long while to cook and so uses lot of cooking gas. But by using this thermal cooker you can save a lot of cooking energy. You just boil the rice and then keep the vessel closed inside this cooker. After three to four hours rice will be cooked.

Really it helped me save lot of cooking gas. In the morning, I will boil the rice and keep it inside the cooker and by eleven; it will be ready to serve.

Here the only drawback is, it takes much longer than the usual time. But at the same time saves lot of energy. It uses vacuum to preserve the heat inside.
