I purchased these phones at a great price. They are a 5.8GHz. Our other cordless phones were a 2.4GHz. So if I am right the new phone would be a better phone. WRONG. I can't stand out side my phone door without static.The people that I talk to have to say "pardon, sorry I can't hear you or worst I have to let you go". I hate this new phone. I am one that can talk on a phone for hours at a time and when I can't it drives me nuts. This phone stinks! The last phone was the same make and worked way better. I everything works on it. For instance, the memo, caller display, ring tones, delete, channel changer,redial and call tranfer etc. But just the range is not good at all. The charging time for this phone was 24 hours and I did just that, so this means the phone is just a waste of our hard earned money. Stay away from this phone.
