These Protect My Eyes! Raquetball Glasses By mickeem on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I have been playing raquetball for quite a few years, and am always looking for something new to help my game... lol. OK, these don't really help my game, but they put me at ease while I am playing.
Anyone who has ever played Raquetball, knows how easy it is, and how many times you can get hit with that little blue ball. And it can hurt!
I have always favored the kind of glasses/goggles that are more wrapped on your face, with the strap. I really didnt think something like this pair would stay on.
But they were pretty inexpensive, and Walmart of all places had them. I Tried them on, and they really hugged my face. I was surprised.
They have a very nice feeling to them, They have a very comfortable bridge, its very soft up against your forehead.
They do come with a headstrap if you are more comfortable wearing that, and the lens case they come in , you can use to clean them.
They are anti-scratch, and I have tested that. They have held up really well, and I have not gotten any scratches on them so-far.
These are very light, and I almost forget I have them on. I like the fact that they are clear all the way around, vs. the other gogle-type, which kind of give you a blind spot around the outside of your eyesight.
For the price of 13.00 and the feeling of these, I would have to give these a thumbs up. I figured if I fell on them, and crushed them, I could afford another pair. (some of them out there are in the hundreds of dollars!) Although they are pretty sturdy, and have not lost their shape.
Ektelon Adjustable B000LOG5E0 Purchased at: Walmart Price: 13.00

never hear of this before, thanks for the info
Sounds like a great product for sports people.
It is so important to have these. I think a lot of people overlook glasses in sports for protection. It was fun to read your information. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
