theSTART: Ciao, Baby 2007

Ciao, Baby is the fourth album by theSTART and it is one of their strongest. In it they further evolve their own mix of dance-pop and retro-80's music.

If you are looking for an upbeat album to play at a party or something with a great beat you can't go wrong in picking this up. Singer Aimee Echo has one of the most unique voices in music today and the band backs her up and sometimes overshadows her. This album is far more polished then their older stuff and their single Wartime will hopefully get more radio play.

One complaint is that the album is WAY too short. With only ten tracks it is over before you know it and leaves you wanting more. If thats the case, either replay it or look into their older stuff. Fans of Garbage hopefully saw them as the opening act on their latest tour.
