I love my set of realistic life-size ceramic cats. It consists of a mother cat, and a baby kitten figurine. The cats are of the Tabby variety, with caramel-gold fur and white vests. Their eyes are green cat-eye buttons, and they are very real looking.

When my husband and I had a Christian coffeehouse named Crossroads, I had these sitting by the big window. They looked so much like a mom cat and her baby kitten. It gave a warm, very cozy feel to the entire coffeehouse atmosphere. I guess these would be considered somewhat vintage now. When we sold the coffeehouse, this was one of my favorite treasures, that I refused to part with.

Now I have them in my master bedroom, near the freestanding fireplace. They make the bedroom look so warm and inviting. Formalities offers many different types of ceramic figurines and gifts, that are reasonably priced and very attractive. Perhaps these cats could still be found on Ebay. They will give a comfortable, cozy feel to any home, and they are also a good conversation starter.
