Thh Atv Helmet By Kakoa on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I bought this helmet about a year ago and it has held up very well. I have not had any accidents where I have needed it to save my head from hitting the ground, but it has saved me from some branches hurting my face.
This helmet is a full face, with an open eye area. It has an adjustable overhang debris cover on the top. I mainly use this for clearing low hanging tree branches over my head so I don't have to take my hands off the steering. This helmet in particular is black, blue, and white with a small tribal design on the sides and back.
The padding inside the helmet is perfect. It's thick enough to keep the helmet tight on my head, but looses enough that I can still make small head adjustments inside without having to take it off. The part that comes across my mouth has a vent area for breathing, but I find that after a long time riding I get a little bit of moisture building up around that area.
The helmet is very easy to clean. I love to get muddy! :-) Sometimes I clean the mud off when it is still wet and sometimes I wait until it hardens. Either way, a wet towel does the job easily.
And yes, that's me in the photo...I like to get muddy! :-)

Very cool looking and great piece of safety equipment. Love the pictures :)
I love the picture of you getting muddy! Looks like SO much fun
I'm so glad you wear a helmet. So many people don't think its necessary. Looks like you really have fun on your ATV. Glad the helmet keeps you safe while doing so.
Thanks for the pictures. I am a visual person :0) The helmet looks and sounds great. I'll keep this brand in mind if my husband ever gets his way and buys an ATV.
Looks like fun. I like to get muddy too. it is always good to get out into the mud every now and then. Can't live life clean all the time. Thanks for sharing the information and the photos. The pictures were great.
Glad your helmet hasn't had to be tested on your head! Looks like fun! I grew up snowmobiling and I know how important a good helmet is both for safety and comfort. When I was young I hated having to 'borrow' someones helmet that was too big and loose. I'd spend half the ride blinded by the helmet twisting and flopping around on my head...not very safe, either I imagine!!
I guess you do like to get muddy! What a great shot of you on the ATV in the helmet!
Girl, I see you love to get muddy!!! I love the helmet!!!
What a great helmet - looks like you are having a blast!!
What a sassy looking helmet! Glad you have had not accidents to truly test it out, but the protection for low hanging branches sounds like a good test too.
